Job summary

For Purpose Aged Care in Wallan, Victoria, is seeking a dedicated Resident Care & Wellbeing Assistant to join our Lifestyle team on a permanent basis. You will deliver varied lifestyle programs that enhance residents' physical, social and emotional wellbeing, while embracing new technology to improve care delivery.

Applicants will have Cert III in Ageing, CPR/First Aid, a current Police Check, and a willingness to drive the Residence bus as required.

Qualifications

• Cert III in Ageing is the minimum requirement.
• Current CPR and First Aid certificates.
• Current Police Check (within 12 months).
• Current DoFoodSafely Certificate.

About You:

You must be experienced in delivering varied lifestyle programs and also comfortable with learning new technology to make difference to our residents' physiological, physical and emotional wellbeing!

• Cert III in Individual Support (Ageing), is a minimum requirement for this role
• Previous experience in a similar position as a Resident Care & Wellbeing Assistant is desirable
• Preferred applicants will have a Certificate IV or Diploma in Lifestyle and Leisure or equivalent or Cert IV in Ageing and significant demonstrated Lifestyle experience
• Current CPR and First Aid Certificates (practical in person training)
• Hold a current drivers licence and be willing to drive the Residence bus as required
• Current Police Check (within 12 months)
• Current DoFoodSafely Certificate
• Flexibility to work dayshifts, weekends, and public holiday shifts as required
• Commitment to providing holiday and leave relief across the home
