Job summary

For Purpose Aged Care in Tamworth is seeking a Resident Care & Wellbeing Assistant on a Max Term contract (56 hours per fortnight) until May 2027. You’ll deliver lifestyle programs and support residents’ wellbeing with compassion and skill, while using technology to enhance care.

A Cert III in Ageing is required, with further qualifications welcomed. You’ll join a values-driven team, enjoy staff benefits, and contribute to a not-for-profit organisation focused on staff wellbeing and high-quality

Qualifications

• Experience delivering varied lifestyle programs in aged care.
• Hold a current driver's licence.
• First Aid and CPR certificates (in person).
• Cert III in Ageing support required as minimum.

About You:

You must be experienced in delivering varied lifestyle programs and also comfortable with learning new technology to make difference to our residents' physiological, physical and emotional wellbeing!

• Previous experience in a similar position as a Resident Care & Wellbeing Assistant is desirable
• Cert III in Individual Support (Ageing), is a minimum requirement for this role
• Preferred applicants will have a Certificate IV or Diploma in Lifestyle and Leisure or equivalent or Cert IV in Ageing and significant demonstrated Lifestyle experience
• Hold a current driver's licence
• First Aid and CPR Certificates (practical in person training)
