Job summary

Rydges Bankstown is seeking a Reservations Team Leader to be the first point of contact for all guest phone and digital enquiries, coordinating bookings, restaurant orders, room service requests and housekeeping with flair and precision.

You will manage FIT and group bookings using Opera PMS, maintain guest profiles, resolve issues, and collaborate with hotel teams. The role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays, with fluent English and strong customer care.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service role, ideally in hospitality.
• Fluent English with strong communication skills.
• Organised and able to juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle FIT and group bookings using Opera PMS and related systems.
• Act as trusted contact for guests, addressing inquiries and preferences.
• Promote hotel services, offers and upgrades to enhance guest stays.
• Log guest complaints, update profiles, and escalate issues to management.
• Maintain and merge guest/company profiles for accurate reporting.
• Collaborate with hotel teams to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain knowledge of reservation procedures and related systems.
• Assist colleagues with additional duties as required.
