Job summary

St Albans Hospitality in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Reservations Officer to join our team and be part of the guest experience from the first hello. You’ll manage bookings, answer enquiries and work closely with our venue teams to keep everything running smoothly.

This busy, hands-on role requires a warm, professional approach, excellent organisational skills and the ability to stay calm when busy. Experience with reservations systems (SevenRooms a plus) and a flexible Monday–Friday

Qualifications

• Experience in reservations, hosting, guest services or a similar hospitality role.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to juggle multiple bookings and priorities without missing a beat.

• Managing reservations, phone calls, emails and guest enquiries across our venues.

• Making the most of every booking opportunity, managing waitlists, cancellations and last-minute requests.
• Working closely with our venue teams to ensure bookings, seating arrangements and special requests run smoothly.
• Getting to know our venues and confidently recommending the perfect dining experience for our guests.
• Keeping guest details and reservations accurate and up to date in SevenRooms.
• Jumping in to support our venue teams with hosting and other operational needs when required.

St Albans Hospitality is home to some of Brisbane's most iconic dining destinations, including Hellenika, SK Steak & Oyster and Sushi Room, all located in the heart of James Street within The Calile Hotel precinct.

We're looking for an experienced Reservations Officer to join our team and be part of the guest experience from the very first hello.

You’ll be the friendly voice behind our reservations, helping guests find the perfect dining experience while working closely with our venue teams to keep everything running smoothly.

Your Role

This is a busy, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll be juggling bookings, chatting with guests, solving problems and making sure every reservation is handled with care.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Managing reservations, phone calls, emails and guest enquiries across our venues.

About You

You're a people person who loves hospitality, has a knack for organisation and enjoys finding solutions. You're confident on the phone, great with guests and can keep your cool when things get busy.

What You’ll Bring:

• Experience in reservations, hosting, guest services or a similar hospitality role.
• A warm, outgoing personality and a genuine love for creating memorable guest experiences.
• Great communication skills and confidence speaking with guests.
• Strong organisational skills and an eye for detail.
• The ability to juggle multiple bookings, enquiries and priorities without missing a beat.
• A positive, can-do attitude and a natural ability to think on your feet.
• Experience with SevenRooms and H&L would be a bonus!
• Flexibility to work Monday-Friday across a seven-day roster.
