Job summary

Australian Venue Co. is seeking a customer-focused Casual Reservations Agent in Melbourne to support reservations across our diverse venues.

You will handle telephone and email enquiries, make and modify bookings, and provide accurate information on menus, functions and services.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in reservations, sales or customer service.
• Hospitality or venue experience is desirable.
• Call centre or high-volume telephone experience.
• Experience using restaurant or reservations software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Respond to telephone and email reservation enquiries.
• Make, confirm, amend and cancel customer reservations.
• Provide accurate information about venues, menus, functions and services.
• Maintain strong product knowledge across AVC venues.
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Work closely with venue managers and the Reservations team.
• Escalate complaints or complex enquiries when required.
• Maintain accurate reservation records and venue information.
• Support reservation campaigns and general administration.
• Meet agreed customer service, call handling and sales KPIs.
