Qualifications

• Formal education or equivalent experience in clinical trial, research ethics, or governance.
• Knowledge of Australian/NSW health research environment and governance frameworks.
• Ability to interpret governance documentation, contracts, policies, and regulations.
• Ability to provide sound advice and recommendations on governance matters.
• Strong written and verbal communication for reports, guidance, and training materials.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines in a high-volume setting.
• Experience maintaining databases, records, and reporting systems with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver research governance activities under supervision of the Manager Research Development.
• Review research applications and provide governance advice to support ethical and well-governed research.
• Monitor compliance requirements and assist with reporting and education to stakeholders.
