Job summary

Ramsay Health Care is seeking a Senior Research Governance and Ethics Officer to oversee day-to-day research ethics and governance operations within the National Research Unit at Head Office, Sydney.

You will manage site-specific applications, post-approval matters and safety reports, advise researchers and Ramsay Network staff on ethics requirements, and help develop policies to support compliant research across NSW.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in health/science, research management, public health administration or health-related discipline.
• Experience in clinical research or ethics governance or related support role.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with healthcare stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage site-specific research ethics approvals, post-approval matters and safety reporting.
• Provide advisory services to internal and external stakeholders on ethics requirements and approvals.
• Develop and maintain governance and ethics reports; oversee safety events reporting.
• Collaborate with the National Research Unit and Ramsay Health Care networks to ensure smooth governance and ethics operations.
