NBMLHD is seeking a proactive Research Development and Governance Officer to coordinate ethics and governance for health research across the NBMLHD. You will provide expert advice and training, driving improvements to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and support researchers and stakeholders.

The role focuses on overseeing governance processes, reporting, and education to promote high-quality, ethical health research within the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level qualification in Health, Social Science or equivalent in regulated environments.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Health and Medical research within a health services setting.
• Familiarity with Good Clinical Practice and governance processes.
• Experience providing administrative and Secretariat support (agendas, minutes, reports).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with document interpretation.
• Excellent organisational and project management abilities in busy settings.
• Strong written and verbal communication for stakeholders and educators.
• Proficiency with REGIS, MS Office and related systems.
