Job summary

Adelaide University’s School of Agriculture, Food and Wine at the Waite Campus seeks a Research Fellow to advance a multi-party funded fertiliser project. You will conduct laboratory and glasshouse experiments to optimise phosphorus and potassium fertilisers for crops, in collaboration with GRDC, Mosaic, and Omnia.

Qualifications

• PhD in chemistry, chemical engineering, material science or soil chemistry, or equivalent qualifications.
• Experience with lab and glasshouse-based experimentation and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory and glasshouse experiments to improve fertiliser performance.
• Investigate release kinetics and uptake of P and K fertilisers in different soils.
• Collaborate with industry partners and researchers to deliver scalable outcomes for farmers.
• Present research findings to stakeholders and partners.
