Job summary

Gamuda Engineering is seeking a Cost Controller to manage project costs for renewable energy developments in New South Wales, Australia. You will maintain cost data, forecasts, budgets and WBS structures, delivering accurate monthly reports to project teams and executives.

The role collaborates with Development, Finance and Procurement, uses SAP PS (WBS, CJI3) to reconcile data and drive improvements in cost control processes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Commerce, Finance or Economics.
• 3-6 years in cost control or project accounting.
• Experience with SAP PS and WBS reporting.
• Advanced Excel for analysis and reporting.
• Infra/energy/construction project experience.
• Strong communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project forecasts including actuals, commitments and forecast-to-complete.
• Monitor expenditure against budgets with variance analysis.
• Establish and maintain WBS structures in SAP PS.
• Run SAP PS reports (CJI3) to extract and reconcile data.
• Prepare monthly cost reports, budgets and cost forecast submissions.
• Collaborate with Finance, Procurement and Development to resolve cost coding issues.
• Maintain purchase order and commitments registers.
• Support continuous improvement of cost control, reporting and SAP processes.
• Maintain project documentation and version control.
• Coordinate governance meetings with agendas and action tracking.
