Job summary

Hazeldene's Chicken Farm in Lockwood is seeking reliable Rendering Operators - Forklift Drivers to join our busy rendering area. This hands-on role focuses on forklift operation, material movement, waste handling and general site duties, with a strong emphasis on safety and GMP compliance.

You will move pallets, perform pre-operational forklift checks, assist with waste management, and support the team with everyday tasks.

Qualifications

• Current and valid forklift licence.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely throughout the site.
• Move pallets and materials to designated storage and operational areas.
• Empty and condense rubbish and waste in designated bins.
• Complete forklift pre-operational inspections and reports before use.
• Assist with waste and material movement within the Rendering operation.
• Undertake general forklift and operational duties as required.
• Drive trucks as required, or undertake training to develop truck-driving capability.
• Complete required forms and check sheets accurately.
• Maintain clean and organised work areas and contribute to good housekeeping.
• Follow GMP, hygiene and sanitation requirements.

Hazeldene's is seeking reliable and safety-focused Rendering Operators - Forklift Drivers to join our team at our Lockwood site. This is a hands-on operational role supporting our Rendering area, with a strong focus on forklift operation, material movement, waste handling and general site duties. The role will involve moving pallets and materials to designated areas, emptying and condensing waste bins, completing forklift pre-operational checks and supporting the team with general operational duties as required.

Key responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely throughout the site
• Move pallets and materials to designated storage and operational areas
• Empty and condense rubbish and waste in designated bins
• Complete forklift pre-operational inspections and reports before use
• Assist with waste and material movement within the Rendering operation
• Undertake general forklift and operational duties as required
• Drive trucks as required, or undertake training to develop truck-driving capability
