Job summary

Administrative Review Tribunal is seeking an experienced Workplace Relations professional for APS5/APS6 roles. The position is a 12-month temporary assignment with potential for permanent transfer, located in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne or Sydney.

You will provide expert advice on APS employment legislation and support managers and employees on performance, conduct and HR matters. The role offers a competitive APS salary range with 15.4% superannuation, flexible working options, and

Qualifications

• Strong expertise and technical knowledge of APS employment legislation and policy frameworks.
• Ability to provide accurate specialist advice on workplace relations issues including performance or conduct matters.
• Proven ability to propose and facilitate innovation initiatives and contribute to business improvement strategies.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills with ability to coach managers and negotiate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, trusted advice on APS employment legislation and frameworks.
• Support employees and managers with performance, conduct and other HR matters.
• Contribute to Enterprise Bargaining Team and bargaining processes.
• Manage sensitive workplace relations matters with discretion, empathy and sound judgement.
