Job summary

David Kennedy Recruitment is seeking a Trust & Safety Product Manager to own safety and compliance for a large AI-driven consumer product. The role is remote from Europe and requires 5+ years of product management leadership with strong safety judgement and a willingness to work with explicit adult content.

The position offers a B2B contract, full-time hours, and close collaboration with CTO, Legal & Safety Lead, and Product Lead to shape the moderation roadmap and regulatory trade-offs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience with proven ownership.
• Strong safety and regulatory judgement with concrete trade-off examples.
• Solid technical understanding of safety systems, thresholds and human review.
• Based in Europe.
• Comfort working with explicit adult content and reviewing disturbing reports.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver safety and compliance features with engineers.
• Drive the product roadmap for AI moderation, age checks and red teaming.
• Make and own safety and regulatory trade-offs, balancing user safety, compliance and product impact.
• Define detection thresholds, manage false positives and shape human review processes.
• Work closely with the CTO, Legal & Safety Lead and Product Lead.
• Review reports that may include disturbing or illegal content.
