Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Trademark & IP Law Paralegal to support a U.S. law firm from Australia in a fully remote role. You will manage trademark prosecution, maintain IP portfolios, and ensure timely USPTO filings while coordinating with U.S. attorneys and clients.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years paralegal or IP law experience, with strong USPTO/TEAS knowledge and docketing skills, in a long-term remote position. Excellent English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as a paralegal, lawyer or attorney.
• At least 2 years with a U.S. trademark or IP law firm.
• Strong experience with U.S. trademark prosecution and portfolio mgmt.
• Experience filing trademark applications, amendments and renewals.
• Practical use of USPTO and TEAS system.
• Familiar with TTAB proceedings and IP portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file US trademark apps and related filings.
• Monitor deadlines, renewals, and office actions in docketing.
• Assist with Office Action responses and evidentiary materials.
• Maintain trademark portfolios and watch reports.
• Conduct preliminary trademark searches and document findings.
• Support TTAB proceedings and copyright filings as needed.
• Coordinate with U.S. attorneys and clients remotely.
