Job summary

Sotalent is seeking a Technical Recruiter to drive end-to-end recruitment for engineering, product, security, and related technical roles. This remote role is based in Continental Australia with occasional travel to engage stakeholders and teams.

You will partner with hiring managers, build diverse pipelines, and use market insights and data-driven practices to deliver a seamless experience for candidates and hiring teams.

Qualifications

• Experience managing full-cycle recruiting across multiple requisitions.
• Tech recruiting experience or a strong interest in technology roles.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Experience developing proactive sourcing strategies and building talent pipelines for specialized roles.
• Ability to use recruiting metrics and market insights to drive hiring decisions and improve recruitment outcomes.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
• Experience working with applicant tracking systems and recruiting platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from intake and sourcing through offer negotiation and onboarding support.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, define role requirements, and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Lead kickoff meetings to align stakeholders on job expectations, interview processes, timelines, and candidate profiles.
• Build and manage diverse talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, networking, referrals, and market research.
• Screen and assess candidates based on technical skills, experience, problem-solving abilities, and overall role fit.
• Collaborate with interview teams to establish structured, consistent, and inclusive interview processes.
• Provide market intelligence, compensation insights, hiring trends, and recruitment recommendations to stakeholders.
• Monitor recruiting metrics and pipeline performance to identify challenges and optimize hiring outcomes.
• Deliver a positive candidate experience through proactive communication, timely feedback, and effective relationship management.
• Support offer development and negotiations while clearly communicating compensation, benefits, and employment value propositions.
• Partner with business leaders to address hiring challenges, mitigate recruitment risks, and improve hiring efficiency.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in recruiting processes, tools, sourcing strategies, and talent acquisition best practices.
• Utilize recruitment technologies and data analytics to drive informed hiring decisions and improve operational effectiveness.
