Job summary

Rockwell Automation, a global technology leader in industrial automation, seeks a Remote Support Engineer for the Remote Support Services team based in Hawthorn, Melbourne. You will troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues across controllers, visualization, networks, and related technologies, engaging customers via phone, chat, and email.

In this hybrid role, you will collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, and Quality teams, document cases, contribute to knowledge

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electronics, mechatronics, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in industrial automation or similar.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for Rockwell Automation hardware and software products via phone, chat and email.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving controllers, HMIs, and industrial networks.
• Analyze, reproduce, and investigate complex technical issues using available tools and environments.
• Document troubleshooting activities and resolutions in service tickets with clear communication.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management and Quality to resolve product issues.
• Contribute to Knowledge-Centered Service by creating and maintaining technical articles.
