Job summary

Ambition Group in Sydney is seeking a Solutions Design Engineer to scope, design and architect solutions across cloud, infrastructure, voice and networks. You will partner with sales, operations and delivery teams through the full lifecycle, from discovery to onboarding and ongoing management.

Responsibilities include client-facing discovery, infrastructure reviews and assisting with technical questions during the sales cycle. Hybrid work with Sydney office locations is available.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering solutions in an MSP environment.
• Experience moving solutions from design to delivery.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure, servers, M365 and security best practices (Essential Eight).
• Ability to think creatively and work with ambiguity.
• Attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Ambition to grow into a dedicated pre-sales career.

Responsibilities

• Scope, design and architect solutions across cloud, infrastructure, voice, and networks.
• Engage in client-facing meetings from discovery to onboarding.
• Assist with technical questions to support sales cycle.
• Oversee client onboarding and ongoing environment management.
• Review existing solutions and propose improvements.
• Deliver AI enablement sessions to clients.
• Collaborate with operations, sales and leadership as a technical focal point.
