Job summary

Compass Group Pty Limited is seeking a Chef to provide buffet style bulk cooking for breakfast and crib lunch or dinner and desserts across remote sites in Queensland. You will ensure OH&S compliance and maintain food safety and hygiene to Compass standards.

With Cert III in Commercial Cookery and bulk catering experience, you will manage kitchen procedures, menu writing, rostering and cost control, while minimizing waste and upholding HACCP guidelines.

Qualifications

• Cert III in Commercial Cookery (min)
• Bulk catering experience
• Experience with menu writing, rostering and cost control
• Knowledge of HACCP and hygienic practices

Responsibilities

• Buffet style bulk cooking for Breakfast and Crib Lunch, or Dinner and Desserts
• Ensure OH&S compliance, adhering to safe work practices and food handling procedures
• Ensure all catering controls are in place, and wastage is kept to the minimum
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, infection control and cleanliness in accordance with Compass standards
