Job summary

MTYU - Stones Corner is seeking Line Chefs for a variety of sites and rosters in Brisbane, Queensland. FIFO from Townsville or Brisbane is available, and you will work with a team of chefs, kitchen utilities and dining staff.

You will handle buffet-style preparation for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, while ensuring OH&S compliance, safe food handling, and high hygiene standards. Assist Head Chefs with team performance and employee development.

Qualifications

• Experience as a line chef in a high-volume kitchen.
• Familiarity with FIFO rostering and multi-site operations.
• Knowledge of OH&S and food handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with a team of Chefs, Kitchen Utilities and Dining staff.
• Prepare buffet-style breakfasts, lunches, dinners and desserts across sites.
• Ensure OH&S compliance and safe food handling practices.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and Compass-standard cleanliness.
• Assist Head Chefs in managing team performance and development.
