Job summary

Frank Digital, a Jaywing agency, is seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer in Sydney to lead complex digital experiences for high-profile clients. You’ll own design direction, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

You’ll need 8+ years of UX/UI experience, strong Figma and Adobe Creative Suite skills, and a proven track record of end-to-end project leadership. This role offers a hybrid model and opportunities to shape design systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in UX/UI or digital product design.
• Experience leading projects end to end and owning the design direction.
• Experience mentoring mid and junior designers, and bringing others along.
• User-centred approach, grounding design decisions in research, usability and accessibility.
• Strong eye for detail and typography in layout.
• Expert working knowledge of Figma, with design systems and component libraries.
• Adobe Creative Suite knowledge (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Initiative and the ability to work autonomously on complex briefs.
• Strong communication and client-facing presentation skills.
• Organised, positive and hardworking mindset in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to interpret briefs and adhere to brand guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Own the UX and UI direction on projects and uphold quality.
• Lead projects end to end from brief to delivery (sketches, wireframes, maps, flows, prototypes, UI).
• Mentor and develop mid and junior designers through feedback and coaching.
• Review and quality check team work, lifting craft standards.
• Collaborate with PPC, CRO, SEO teams to ensure high-converting pages.
• Work with internal development team to balance buildability and beauty.
• Champion the user and defend design decisions with evidence.
• Run workshops and present work to clients, explaining decisions to senior stakeholders.
• Shape design team processes and tools as the team grows.
