Job summary

Bilue in Sydney, Australia is seeking a Lead Product Designer to own the design craft end-to-end for web and native iOS/Android apps. You will shape complex products, adapt quickly across clients, and operate with senior independence in fast-paced environments.

You will lead end-to-end design, drive usability studies, and produce high-fidelity UI with Figma, aligned to Apple HIG and Material Design, while prioritizing accessibility and AI-powered experiences.

• Bring strong consulting skills to client engagements, building trust quickly, managing expectations and guiding stakeholders through ambiguity and competing priorities
• Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, product owners and delivery leads

Job Description

We're looking for a Lead Product Designer to own the design craft end to end, from early concepts and usability testing through to polished, production ready UI. You'll work across web and native iOS and Android, shaping complex products that real people rely on every day.

Because our work spans a range of clients, industries and product types, we're after someone with broad experience who can adapt quickly and hit the ground running in new environments. This is a senior role, so you'll need to move fast, make confident calls and deliver high quality work without heavy oversight.

Technical Skills

• Lead experience in end to end product design, covering both UX and UI
• Broad experience across different industries, product types and team structures, with the versatility to adapt your approach to each
• A portfolio that shows shipped work across native mobile and responsive web
• Strong working knowledge of Apple HIG and Material Design
• Hands on experience running usability testing and acting on the insights
• Advanced Figma skills, including building and maintaining component libraries
• A solid understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design across web and native
• Practical experience using AI tools in your design workflow, and an interest in designing for AI powered experiences
• Bonus: experience in complex or regulated industries such as finance, health or government
