Job summary
Boeing Defence Australia is seeking a Principal Aerospace Structural Integrity Engineer to support the ASI program for the F/A-18F Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler. Based at RAAF Base Amberley, you will lead structural life-cycle analysis and ensure continuing airworthiness with a focus on fatigue life and reliability.
You will work within Sustainment Operation Engineering, collaborate across disciplines, manage projects from inception to completion, and drive innovative solutions while
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace, Aeronautical or Mechanical (nationally accredited).
- 15+ years of experience in ASI or aircraft repairs incl. design/analysis.
- Experience in regulated aviation environments (DASR, CASA, FAA, EASA).
- Strong analytical skills to collect, organize, synthesize data and make recommendations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration in a multi-discipline team; proactive and decisive.
Responsibilities
- Support the ASI Program Manager across life-cycle phases and master plan.
- Monitor and manage aircraft structural fatigue life for airworthiness.
- Own projects across functions from inception to completion; ensure timely delivery and quality.
- Identify challenges and develop innovative solutions without direction.
- Share knowledge and best practices within the team.
