Job summary

Boeing Defence Australia is seeking an Aerospace Structural Engineer to support the ASI program for the F/A-18F Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler from the Amberley base, QLD. You will work within Sustainment Operation Engineering to ensure continuing airworthiness of the fleet and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires a BE in aerospace/aeronautical/mechanical engineering, 3+ years in aircraft structural integrity, and the ability to obtain an NV1 clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace, Aeronautical or Mechanical from a nationally accredited program.
• 3+ years experience in aircraft structural integrity or repairs.
• Experience with regulated aviation environments (DASR, CASA, FAA, EASA).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Australian Citizenship with ability to obtain NV1 clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support the ASI Program through life cycle phases and master plan.
• Monitor aircraft structural fatigue life to ensure safety and reliability.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks ensuring timely delivery and quality.
