Job summary

ShiftCare is seeking a seasoned Software Engineer – Integrations for a fully remote role based in Australia. You’ll join a cross-functional team to build scalable integrations, APIs, and microservices in an Agile/DevOps environment, delivering high-quality features, interacting with product owners, and contributing to the Powertracer platform.

You’ll work with technologies like Ruby, Go, React, GraphQL, Terraform, and AWS, and collaborate across frontend, backend, and data layers to improve

Qualifications

• Six or more years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Experience in Agile teams with strong collaboration and self-starting mindset.
• Experience in software development, architecture, APIs, and microservices.
• Experience with build, deployment, and release automation in a DevOps environment.
• Experience supporting enterprise cloud applications or infrastructure.
• Working proficiency with relational databases and large data sets.
• Interest in full-stack development across frontend and backend.

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable, maintainable solutions to complex problems.
• Integrate with third-party platforms and services via APIs and microservices.
• Contribute to project management, security, and performance improvements.
• Tackle performance bottlenecks in backend and frontend components.
