Job summary

Topcon Precision Agriculture, a leader in satellite positioning and precision farming technology, seeks a Regional Sales Manager to drive growth through a dealer network across Australia. You’ll lead business development, plan territory growth, and build strong partnerships with customers and partners while delivering meaningful business outcomes.

The role focuses on expanding market presence, supporting dealers with tools and knowledge, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet sales

Qualifications

• Experience in agricultural sales, business development, dealer management, or a related commercial role.
• Knowledge of precision agriculture, farm machinery, GPS/GNSS technologies, or agricultural equipment.
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to identify opportunities and convert them into sustainable business growth.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Strong planning, organisational, and analytical capabilities.
• A self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory growth strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Manage and grow relationships with dealers and channel partners.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities across agricultural markets.
• Create and implement territory plans to drive sales growth.
• Conduct regular dealer visits and maintain customer engagement.
• Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions.
• Support dealer sales and marketing initiatives through coaching and knowledge sharing.
• Monitor market trends and customer requirements to identify opportunities and risks.
• Prepare sales forecasts, pipelines, and territory performance updates.
• Collaborate with technical, production and marketing teams to enhance customer outcomes.
• Maintain accurate customer and opportunity records in CRM.
• Represent Topcon professionally at industry events and customer functions.
