Job summary

BaptistCare NSW & ACT is seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our Home Care team serving the Port Macquarie region and surrounds. You will deliver evidence-based physiotherapy assessments and interventions to clients under aged care funding programs, with a focus on reablement and restorative care.

Your work will help older people maintain or regain independence, mobility, and confidence in order to remain living at home.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physiotherapy with current AHPRA registration.
• Demonstrated ability to assess physiotherapy needs and develop individualised programs for aged care clients.
• Postgraduate experience in aged care, rehabilitation, or community settings.
• Comprehensive understanding of reablement and restorative care models.
• Confident working both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated computer literacy.
• Alignment with BaptistCare’s values and mission.
• Current first aid certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• Unrestricted driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle with minimum Third-Party Property Damage Insurance.
