Job summary

Exact Contracting is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to lead civil, road construction, water infrastructure and agricultural projects in the remote Northern Territory. You will manage on-site resourcing, contract administration and quality control on a 14 on / 7 off roster in remote locations that can be hot, dry and dusty.

Qualifications

• Relevant Civil Engineering qualification or equivalent.
• Experience on civil, bulk earthwork, water infrastructure and/or road projects.
• Commitment to quality, safety and environmental measures.
• Ability to liaise with employees, clients, suppliers and sub-contractors.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a methodical approach.
• Hands-on attitude with meticulous documentation.

Responsibilities

• Day to day resourcing of the project.
• Overseeing requests for information submissions.
• Contract administration.
• Producing financial and monthly reports.
• Managing subcontractors; and
• Quality assurance.
