Job summary

Exact Contracting Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead remote civil and bulk earthworks, road construction, water infrastructure, and mining projects across remote NT and SA. You will report to Senior Management, driving project success, day-to-day operations, safety, budget adherence and on-time delivery.

The role features a 14 days on, 7 days off FIFO roster. Candidates should have extensive earthworks experience, a management qualification, and strong leadership,

Qualifications

• The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication.
• Experience in managing teams and projects in civil/mining settings is preferred.
• Cert IV or Diploma in Management or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and drive operational efficiency on projects.
• Oversee procurement and cost control in line with project requirements.
• Ensure timely execution of activities and adherence to KPI requirements.
• Liaise with departments to manage work groups and deliver client satisfaction.

Reporting to Senior Management, you will be responsible for driving project success, taking lead of day-to-day operations and ensuring projects are delivered safely, within budget and on schedule.
The successful candidate will be expected to work a 14 days on, 7 days off FIFO roster.
Role responsibilities include:

• Leading & maintaining a strong safety culture
• Driving operational efficiency & innovation
• Procurement as per project requirements
• Timely execution of project activities
• Strong understanding and compliance with contractual & KPI requirements

• Current drivers licence (essential)
• Experience in a similar role, with extensive earthworks experience (essential)
• Cert IV or Diploma in Management (or equivalent)
• S1, S2, S3 qualification (desirable)Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office & MS Project
• Effective planning, time management and prioritisation skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage others
• Excellent communication skills
