Job summary

Exact Contracting Pty Ltd seeks an experienced civil and bulk earthworks supervisor to oversee daily earthworks on remote mining and civil projects. You will work on a FIFO roster 2 weeks on/1 week off, based on site in remote NT, ensuring delivery to safety, budget, and schedule.

You will lead from the front, manage resources, interpret plans, liaise with clients and subcontractors, and drive KPI reporting while maintaining a proactive, hands-on approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory/management role within bulk/civil earthworks.
• Certificate IV or Diploma in Management (highly regarded).
• S1, S2 and S3 qualifications (highly regarded).
• Understanding of mining or civil plant operations and maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings.
• Effective planning, time management and prioritisation.
• Confident communication with employees, clients, suppliers and sub-contractors.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and maintenance systems (MEX).
• Self-motivated with a hands-on approach and remote location work mindset.
• Willingness to work in remote FIFO environments.

• Effectively manage resources to meet production schedules.
• Understand contractual requirements and apply them on site.
• Provide on-ground leadership with direction, guidance and feedback.
• Deliver timely information to meet management and client needs.
• Maintain and adhere to project activity schedules.
• Provide contractual and KPI reporting to management and client.
• Collaborate with Project Management to complete activities on time and on budget.
• Inspire others to achieve goals and performance targets.
• Conduct periodic performance appraisals and develop improvement plans.
