Job summary

Exact Contracting Pty Ltd is seeking an Experienced Civil and Bulk Earthworks Supervisor for a FIFO roster on remote projects in the Northern Territory. The role focuses on leading daily earthworks, ensuring safety, budget adherence, and on-schedule delivery with on-site leadership and timely reporting.

The successful candidate will manage resources, read plans, liaise with clients and sub-contractors, and apply strong planning and organisation skills across MS Office and maintenance systems

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory/management role within bulk/civil earthworks.
• Certificate IV or Diploma in Management or equivalent.
• S1, S2 and S3 qualifications considered highly regardable.
• Understanding of mining or civil plant and equipment operations and maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings.
• Effective planning, time management and prioritisation.
• Confident communication and liaising with workers, clients, suppliers and sub-contractors.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and maintenance systems (MEX).
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
• Desire to work in remote locations; hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily earthworks operations on remote mining & civil projects.
• Oversee resources to meet production schedules and stay on budget.
• Ensure works are delivered safely and on schedule.
• Provide strong leadership and on‑site direction to teams.
• Report timely to management and Client with accurate information.
• Maintain scheduling of project activities and KPI reporting.
• Collaborate with Project Management Team to complete activities safely and timely.
• Inspire others toward goals and conduct scheduled performance appraisals.
