Placements24 is seeking a dedicated and experienced Process Safety Engineer for a fully remote position, supporting operations across various global sites. You will develop, implement, and maintain robust process safety management systems to uphold the highest safety standards in chemical processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering with a strong safety specialization.
• Experience with process safety management, hazard analyses, and risk assessment.
• Familiarity with SIS and PHAs (HAZOP/LOPA/FMEA) and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve Process Safety Management (PSM) programs.
• Conduct PHAs, including HAZOP, LOPA, and FMEA studies.
• Review and approve MOC proposals to ensure safety integrity.
• Investigate process safety incidents and near-misses with root-cause analysis.
• Ensure compliance with global safety standards and company policies.
• Develop and deliver process safety training across locations.
