Job summary

SoCode is seeking a Pre-Sales Applications Engineer to bridge cutting-edge technology with real-world customer requirements. Qualifications

• Degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, Physics, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Experience in Pre-Sales Engineering or similar technical customer-facing role.
• Ability to present technical solutions to a range of audiences.
• Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally (approximately 10-40%).
• Eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support the sales process from initial customer engagement through to contract award.
• Translate customer requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Deliver technical presentations, workshops, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept activities.
• Develop deep expertise across hardware, software, and integrated system solutions.
• Collaborate with product teams, providing customer and market feedback to influence future development.
• Build and test demonstration environments, application use cases, and technical documentation.
• Support customer deployments and field activities when required.
• Produce high-quality proposals, bid content, and technical collateral.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues across hardware, software, networking, and RF environments.
