Job summary

CommScope in Sydney, Australia is seeking a Systems Engineer to deliver pre-sales technical support, develop high-level designs, and position complex solutions for customers. You will conduct product demonstrations and run proof-of-concept setups, training sessions, and workshops.

The role requires extensive cabling design experience and relevant certifications, with strong communication and presentation skills to support customers and channel partners throughout engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree/Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunication, Computer or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of structured cabling system design experience.
• Current industry certification preferred (BICSI RCDD, BICSI DCDC, BICSI OSP, FTTH).
• Knowledge of local building, electrical and data-communication codes/regulations.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide product and technical support to customers as a contributing team member.
• Deliver pre-sales technical support for complex CommScope solutions and tailor applications to customer networks.
• Provide technical assistance through sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation, and maintenance.
• Provide training to end users, channel partners, and system integrators.
• Offer post-sales technical expertise during installation, testing, and maintenance.
