Alignerr is seeking a Physics Subject Matter Expert (AI Training) to design rigorous physics problems and craft clear solutions for evaluating AI models. You will assess AI-generated answers for accuracy and depth, identify weaknesses, and collaborate with researchers to refine benchmarks across undergraduate to Masters-level topics.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physics, Applied Physics, or closely related field.
• Strong problem-solving across advanced physics domains.
• Ability to explain complex concepts in writing.

Responsibilities

• Design rigorous physics problems spanning mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, quantum mechanics, and more.
• Develop clear, step-by-step solutions with precise reasoning.
• Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, depth, and quality of reasoning.
• Identify gaps, errors, and weaknesses in how AI models approach physics problems.
• Collaborate with researchers to build and refine benchmarks across undergraduate to Masters-level topics.
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.
