Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Biology Subject Matter Expert (AI Training) to design biology questions and develop clear, well-structured solutions that probe AI reasoning. You will evaluate AI outputs for accuracy and depth, identify gaps, and collaborate on benchmarks spanning undergrad to Masters biology topics.

This fully remote, hourly contract role offers 10–40 hours weekly with flexible scheduling for master’s level specialists in biology or related fields. No prior AI experience required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Biology or closely related field is required or completed.
• Strong scientific reasoning across advanced biology topics.
• Clear, concise written communication for complex ideas.
• Ability to provide structured, analytical feedback on AI outputs.

Responsibilities

• Design biology questions to test AI reasoning and knowledge.
• Develop clear, step-by-step solutions with solid scientific logic.
• Evaluate AI outputs for accuracy and depth of reasoning.
• Identify gaps and weaknesses in AI responses across biology domains.
• Collaborate with researchers to refine benchmarks across undergrad to Masters topics.
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.
