Job summary

SA Power Networks seeks a Network Systems Engineer to administer and enhance its SCADA system and field devices, ensuring reliable performance for the 24/7 Network Operations Centre. You will apply strong SCADA knowledge, analytical skills and collaboration with technical teams to maintain data quality and system reliability.

The role requires an Electrical Engineering degree (or equivalent) and a current driver’s licence, with AusCheck background check anticipated.

Qualifications

• Experience administering and maintaining SCADA environments.
• Knowledge of SCADA devices such as RTUs and data concentrators.
• A degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification is highly regarded.
• AusCheck background check will be required.

Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor and enhance SA Power Networks’ SCADA system and field devices.
• Ensure data accuracy and reliable system performance in a 24/7 environment.
• Contribute to system development work and support Network Operations Centre.
