Job summary

Employment Hero is seeking a Payroll Implementation Consultant to guide customers through payroll configuration and deployment of the EH payroll platform. This role can be based anywhere in Australia or New Zealand, operating in a remote-first, AI-enabled environment.

You will be the primary contact during implementations, translating payroll rules for clients, collaborating with project teams, and supporting stakeholders to achieve timely, accurate outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing payroll in Australia, with knowledge of local awards and agreements.
• Ability to translate payroll rules into system configurations for clients.
• Strong communication with non-payroll stakeholders and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for customers during payroll implementations.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, HR implementation consultants and platform configuration specialists.
• Apply payroll best practices and interpret Australian awards and agreements.
• Conduct root cause analysis and improve delivery processes.
• Build relationships with clients and coordinate with internal teams to deliver on time.
• Maintain data accuracy in business systems and support client queries.
