Job summary

Westpac is expanding its Community Engagement team in the Northern Territory. We are seeking two relationship-focused individuals to improve access to banking services across remote communities and to travel regularly to Tennant Creek and other NT locations.

You will engage with customers, Indigenous leaders and service providers to deliver financial education and inclusive banking outcomes. The role requires flexibility for travel, strong stakeholder skills and a passion for supporting

Qualifications

• Experience in community engagement, customer advocacy or social services.
• Strong stakeholder and relationship-building skills with empathy.
• Passion for supporting Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander communities.
• Willingness to travel regularly to Tennant Creek and remote NT communities.
• Flexible working hours to accommodate travel and service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with customers, community groups and local stakeholders.
• Support vulnerable customers to access banking services and build confidence using digital banking tools.
• Deliver financial education and community engagement initiatives.
• Partner with Indigenous organisations, councils and service providers to identify local needs and opportunities.
• Represent Westpac within communities and advocate for positive customer outcomes.
• Contribute to outreach activities that strengthen access to banking in remote locations.
