Job summary

Placements24 is seeking innovative and detail-oriented Graduate Mechanical Engineers to join a fully remote team. Recent graduates will contribute to mechanical design, analysis, and manufacturing on projects across Australia, collaborating with experienced engineers using advanced tools.

You will perform calculations and simulations, create technical drawings, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
Solid understanding of core mechanical engineering principles, including thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and materials science.
Familiarity with CAD software and simulation tools (advantage).
Excellent communication and ability to work effectively in a collaborative remote team setting.

Responsibilities

Assist in the design, development, and testing of mechanical components, systems, and products.
Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to validate designs.
Contribute to the creation of technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing and R&D, to ensure successful project outcomes.
Participate in the troubleshooting and resolution of design-related issues, applying sound engineering principles.
