Job summary

National Centre for Action on Child Sexual Abuse in Sydney is seeking an experienced Manager, Business Operations to lead the core business functions that enable the organisation to operate effectively and deliver its mission.

You will oversee operations, governance and reporting, manage a small team, coordinate outsourced services and support the implementation of organisational priorities, driving continuous improvement across systems and processes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or managing business operations in a complex organisation.
• Experience leading and developing staff in a collaborative environment.
• Strong organisational and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across functions.
• Understanding governance, compliance and reporting in not-for-profit/government/health/education.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day business operations.
• Manage and develop a small team for operations, governance and reporting.
• Oversee governance, compliance and reporting obligations.
• Support Board and Committee reporting cycles.
• Coordinate outsourced services (finance, payroll, HR, etc.).
• Drive continuous improvement across systems and processes.
• Maintain oversight of risk management.
• Translate strategic priorities into operational outcomes.
• Build relationships with funders, partners and stakeholders.
