Job summary

CCInternational Recruitment is seeking a senior leader to oversee in-home care operations across New South Wales. Reporting to the COO, you will drive performance, workforce capability, service quality, compliance and continuous improvement across a large state portfolio.

You will lead governance, strategise priorities, and direct frontline teams to deliver client-centred care while optimising schedules, travel and costs. Strong stakeholder management and regulatory experience are essential.

Qualifications

  • Extensive senior operational leadership experience across large, dispersed service portfolio.
  • Strong experience in in-home care, aged care, disability, community services or related regulated environment.
  • Proven success leading large multi-disciplinary teams through operational leaders and Team Leaders.
  • Deep understanding of person-centred service delivery, workforce management, quality, safeguarding and compliance.
  • Experience managing operational and financial performance including budgets and funding arrangements.
  • Strong workforce planning, scheduling, utilisation and resource optimisation.
  • Proven ability to improve operating models, systems and processes across growing or changing organisations.
  • Experience managing incidents, complaints, operational risk and regulatory obligations.
  • Strong commercial judgement balancing client outcomes, service quality and financial performance.

Responsibilities

  • Improve care delivery models, workforce planning and travel optimisation.
  • Monitor hours, utilisation, travel, financial performance and client outcomes.
  • Standardise practices to improve quality, consistency and scalability.
  • Ensure compliance with aged care, disability, quality and safety requirements.
  • Oversee incidents, complaints and safeguarding, including investigations.
  • Maintain audit readiness and manage operational, workforce and client risks.
  • Use data and reporting to identify trends and drive performance improvements.
  • Leverage technology, AI and automation to modernise service delivery.
  • Contribute to governance, policy and strategic priorities.

Job description

Join a growing national healthcare and community services provider delivering in-home aged care, disability support, nursing and other healthcare services. This is a senior client-side leadership role with direct accountability for the organisation’s in-home care operations across NSW.

Reporting to the COO, you’ll lead operational performance, workforce capability, service quality, compliance and continuous improvement across a large state-based portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the operational performance and governance of in-home care services across NSW
  • Translate organisational strategy into clear priorities, operating plans and measurable outcomes
  • Oversee service delivery across multiple care programs, locations and dispersed frontline teams
  • Ensure services align with individual care plans, funding arrangements and client needs

Skills & Experience
  • Extensive senior operational leadership experience across a large, complex and geographically dispersed service portfolio
  • Strong experience in in-home care, aged care, disability, community services or a closely related regulated environment
  • Demonstrated success leading large multidisciplinary teams through operational leaders and Team Leaders
  • Deep understanding of person-centred service delivery, workforce management, quality, safeguarding and compliance
  • Experience managing operational and financial performance, including budgets, workforce costs, funding arrangements and service sustainability
  • Strong workforce planning, scheduling, utilisation and resource optimisation capability
  • Proven ability to improve operating models, systems and processes across growing or changing organisations
  • Experience managing incidents, complaints, operational risk and regulatory obligations
  • Strong commercial judgement, balancing client outcomes, service quality, workforce requirements and financial performance
  • Confidence using data and operational reporting to identify risks and guide decisions
  • Highly developed communication, stakeholder management and change leadership skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in disability, community services, social work or a related field
  • Ability to meet relevant screening, credentialling and compliance requirements
