Job summary

Welo Global seeks an experienced English into Maltese Review Lead to own locale quality and act as the primary linguistic expert for a global tech client. You will align style guides, oversee post-editing and review teams, and drive consistent quality across UI, marketing, product, and support content.

You will coordinate with the client Language Manager, lead calibration discussions, and deliver regular quality reporting while enabling continuous improvement and fewer surprises over time.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in Localization Quality Assurance (LQA) or related governance roles.
• Native‑level Maltese and professional English.
• Experience managing client Language Managers and arbitration/escalation processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyse style guides and updates and record changes across content types.
• Publish a monthly quality digest with performance and improvement notes.
• Coach reviewers one‑to‑one and run shadowing sessions; deliver targeted training.
• Propose style guide improvements and share patterns with QA leadership.
• Maintain alignment with the client’s Language Manager and manage escalations.
