Job summary

Welo Global seeks an experienced English into Maltese Review Lead to own locale quality and serve as the main linguistic expert for a global technology client. You will ensure consistent interpretation of standards and act as the primary contact for the client’s Language Manager on quality discussions, calibrations, and escalations.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in Localization Quality Assurance (LQA) or related roles.
• Direct experience as primary contact for client Language Managers.
• Deep experience with localization evaluation frameworks (RQE, LQE) and severity mapping.
• Ability to analyse style guides, identify implicit expectations, and map tolerance by content type.
• Experience leading one-to-one coaching, shadowing sessions, and quality reporting.

Responsibilities

• Analyse requirements and track calibration changes across content types and styles.
• Run monthly quality digest meetings and publish action-focused updates.
• Coach Reviewers one-to-one with real examples and conduct shadowing sessions.
• Develop style-guide proposals from recurring justification patterns and share insights with the Quality Manager.
• Maintain alignment with the client’s Language Manager and manage escalation pathways.
