Job summary

Welo Global is seeking an experienced English into Maltese Review Lead to act as the language quality owner and client-facing linguistic expert for a leading global technology client.

You will own the locale’s interpretation of quality standards and ensure alignment across Post-Editors, Reviewers, and calibration sessions, while collaborating with the client’s Language Manager to maintain consistency and continuous improvement across UI, marketing, and support content.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in Localization Quality Assurance or related governance roles.
• Experience as primary contact for client Language Managers.
• Deep experience with localization evaluation frameworks (RQE, LQE).
• Ability to analyze style guides and map expectations by content type.
• Strong meeting facilitation and coaching experience.
• Native Maltese and professional English.

Responsibilities

• Analyse requirements and track calibration changes.
• Publish a structured monthly quality digest with performance and updates.
• Coach Reviewers one-to-one using real examples.
• Turn alignment data into style guide proposals for cross-locale use.
• Maintain alignment with client Language Manager and minimize surprises over time.
