Job summary

SEE Together, an Australian eye care for-purpose organisation, seeks an experienced fundraiser to advance its fundraising program. You will drive major gifts and philanthropic partnerships while coordinating with grants, supporter communications, marketing campaigns and events to create a cohesive fundraising strategy.

Reporting to the CEO and collaborating with the Board, you will shape fundraising direction, build durable donor relationships, craft compelling proposals and donor reports, and

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience building trusted relationships with high-capacity donors or philanthropic partners.
• Experience in fundraising, partnerships or a closely related field.
• Strong communication skills, including storytelling, proposal writing and presenting.
• The ability to turn strategy into practical action and manage competing priorities.
• Initiative, adaptability and sound judgement in a growing organisation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a fundraising strategy, prioritising major gifts and philanthropic partnerships.
• Identify, cultivate, solicit and steward major and mid-level donors, philanthropic partners and Gifts in Wills prospects.
• Work with colleagues to progress grant, trust and foundation opportunities.
• Partner with the CEO and Board in donor meetings, briefings and presentations.
• Develop compelling proposals, cases for support and impact reports.
• Build donor journeys and stewardship plans, and help coordinate appeals, regular giving and small events.
• Establish CRM processes, manage the fundraising pipeline and report on progress.
• Uphold ethical fundraising practice, compliance and thoughtful donor care.
