Job summary

Mahonys Transport is seeking a Logistics Administrator to support our Logistics Coordinator and gradually own key processes. The role combines home-based work with periodic meetings at Laverton, and occasional travel to Geelong for meetings.

You will handle scheduling, driver communications, and document control, while gaining exposure to compliance and maintenance records in a small, family-owned team. This is a full-time or part-time role with room to grow.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar logistics or transport admin role.
• Proficient with scheduling apps and Xero; quick to learn new systems.
• Organised, practical, decisive and energetic.
• Able to work efficiently from home and attend Laverton/Geelong as needed.

Responsibilities

• Enter and manage data in our scheduling app.
• Book timeslots and coordinate drivers.
• Communicate with drivers and stakeholders.
• Prepare invoices in Xero and chase missing paperwork.
• Maintain scheduling, maintenance and compliance records.
• Identify simpler, faster ways to do the work.
• Be part of an on‑call roster.
• Experience with mass/heavy vehicles and compliance is a plus.
