Job summary

Gen Leads is seeking two experienced lead generators and appointment setters to join our high-performing team in a remote, work-from-home capacity for an initial three-month contract. You will represent one of our clients in the insurance industry, speaking with prospective customers, identifying opportunities and securing qualified appointments.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in cold calling, lead generation, sales or appointment setting.
• Previous sales experience, with insurance sales experience strongly preferred
• Confidence speaking with cold and warm prospects
• A demonstrated ability to handle objections and secure qualified appointments
• Strong relationship-building and lead-nurturing skills
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Clear, professional and engaging phone communication
• A strong work ethic and results-oriented mindset
• The ability to think quickly and adapt your approach during conversations
• Strong problem-solving and active-listening skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accurate data-entry skills
• The ability to work autonomously while remaining connected to the wider team
• Availability to work a minimum of 15–20 hours per week from home
• Your own reliable computer, internet connection and suitable home-office environment
• Australian work rights and an active Australian ABN

Responsibilities

• Contacting cold and warm leads on behalf of our client
• Introducing the client’s services clearly and professionally
• Asking relevant questions to understand each prospect’s needs and circumstances
• Identifying and qualifying genuine sales opportunities
• Handling questions and objections confidently
• Booking qualified appointments for the client’s sales team
• Building relationships with prospects and nurturing leads that are not yet ready to proceed
• Following up prospects consistently and professionally
• Achieving agreed weekly and monthly activity and appointment KPIs
• Updating and maintaining CRM records with 100% accuracy
• Recording detailed and useful notes following each conversation
• Providing management with feedback about lead quality, common objections and market responses
• Participating in team communication, coaching and campaign reviews
• Representing Gen Leads and our client with a high level of professionalism at all times
