GE Vernova seeks a Controls Lead Field Engineer to install, commission and service hardware and software for its Software & Controls Solutions portfolio across Oil & Gas and Power Gen industries. The role covers on-site and offshore environments, requiring strong troubleshooting, training and supervisory skills.

You will lead multi-discipline teams, perform loop checks and commissioning tests, and coordinate with project managers.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/IT Engineering.
• 5 years related work experience in Oil & Gas and Power Plant field activities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with control systems and turbines viewed as a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Install and commission hardware and software in Oil & Gas, Power Gen, and related industries.
• Troubleshoot field installations onsite and remotely as needed.
• Prepare field services jobs with project managers and attend pre-outages meetings.
• Provide on-site technical assistance and training to customers.
• Supervise subcontractors and field activities, including wiring and commissioning tests.
• Lead loop checks, unit start-ups and performance tests on machines.
• Produce accurate reports and input timesheets; ensure safety and compliance.
