Job summary

Meakins Australia is a specialist hydraulic services design and consulting firm in Western Australia seeking an experienced hydraulic services engineer. You will design and deliver hydraulic building services across water, sanitary, drainage, sewer and stormwater systems for significant projects, from scoping through to construction.

You will contribute to calculations, reports and buildable solutions while coordinating with architects and other disciplines.

Qualifications

• Recognised tertiary qualification in Engineering.
• 3+ years in hydraulic building services design in Australian construction.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic design principles and construction methods.
• Sound understanding of NCC, Australian Standards, and authority requirements.
• Experience collaborating with architects, builders and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Engineering design and delivery of hydraulic building services, including water, sanitary, drainage and stormwater systems.
• Undertaking calculations, sizing and technical assessments to support hydraulic design solutions.
• Developing practical, buildable hydraulic solutions aligned with design and construction outcomes.
• Managing hydraulic projects from scoping through documentation to completion.
• Providing technical advice to clients, architects, builders and contractors.
• Coordinating hydraulic services with other building services disciplines.
