Job summary

Randstad is seeking a Hydraulic Engineer in Melbourne to lead hydraulic services design across a diverse project portfolio including commercial, residential, healthcare and education sectors. You will own technical outputs, collaborate with architects and engineers, and ensure compliance with NCC and PCA standards.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of professional experience in hydraulic design within an Australian building services consultancy.
• Engineering degree or diploma in Civil, Mechanical or Building Services (or equivalent).
• Strong proficiency in Revit is essential; familiarity with AutoCAD and hydraulic sizing software is expected.

Responsibilities

• Design hydraulic services including sanitary plumbing, drainage, hot/cold water, rainwater, and gas services.
• Perform sizing calculations for pumps, pipes, backflow preventers, and hot water plant.
• Produce high-quality 3D BIM models and documentation using Revit Plumbing/Hydraulics.
